Oh Canada!

We just got back from a trip to Regina, Saskatchewan (or "The Vag" as we've lovingly come to call it). My friend Jenn got married on March 28th and I really wanted to be there, especially since my Dad performed the sealing. Aaron and Finn came too and we had a great time.

Finn was such a good little traveller...he slept a lot and was so happy when he was awake! Travelling with a baby can be stressful so we were thankful that he was so cooperative.

The wedding was so wonderful, it was so nice to spend time with my parents, and as a bonus, my sister Brittany came down from Calgary and we got to spend a lot of time with her too!

We ate at my favorite Indian restaurant, enjoyed a REAL teenburger from A&W (A&W in the States = cold fries and nasty burgers on stale buns...A&W in Canada = bacon cheeseburger heaven amidst a sea of delectable onion rings) and Aaron made sure to pick up some Fuzzy Peaches (yummy Canadian candies WAY better than Peach Rings). Aaron also treated himself to some caffeine-free Mountain Dew which made the whole trip worth it for him. (For those of you who don't know, Aaron is addicted to caffeine/Mountain Dew but he has kicked the habit and has been caffeine-free for 6 weeks now!) Mountain Dew doesn't have caffeine in Canada so Aaron was able to indulge his taste buds guilt-free.

Unfortunately, I am really bad at taking pictures and I realized when I got home that I didn't get any pics with my parents or with Brittany! Arg. Here are a few pictures that I got of the wedding...

The happy couple right outside the temple. Robert is from Uganda and was mission companions with Jenn's brother in South Africa. Jenn wrote him on the mish and the rest is history!

This picture was taken the night of the sealing at the family dinner. I love how Finn is looking at Jenn. Robert and Jenn wore their authentic African garb to the dinner -- how fun!

These were taken at the wedding reception the following night. No, I was not in the wedding party, I'm just holding a bouquet for kicks :) Aaron and I were so glad that we could be there to share this special time with the happy couple!
Jenn was my maid of honor 4/12 years here's a picture of us just for fun: (I haven't quite figured out my scanner yet, hence the small size of this picture :)

On the way home, Finn was so good. He woke up from a long nap at the Minneapolis airport and was SUPER happy. He was scooching all over the place making friends with the passengers. Here is a video Aaron took of him:

And just because I love them so much, here are a couple pictures I took of Finn before we left:

Love this little guy!

So Iam pretty much in love with Finn. His army crawl is my favorite, also the hat is too much to handle!

Iam so glad you got to go home and have fun! You look A-MAZING!

Just so Aaron doesn't feel left out I am very proud of him for kicking the caffeine, I myself am 5 months going strong....I know, I know you thought it could never be done.

I didn't know Jenn's hubby is from Uganda! She looks beautiful, of course, and where did you get your cute dresses for the occaz? (that's a shortening of "occasion"--how do I write that sound?!) Anyway, I was driven to leave a comment though, when I saw the ADORABLE pictures of Finn at the end--priceless!
