The incident...

Only a few seconds after this...

and this...

came this...
I was trying to have a fun picture-taking moment with Finn. He loves to hold the camera so I was trying to show him how to take a picture. I was only showing him what button to push, but he got mad that I was honing in on his camera holding time and proceeded to chuck the camera at me at point-blank range. I now have a cut forehead and black eye as a souvenir. It hurt SO BAD and I yelled out in pain...and then he got really sad once he saw that I was hurt and I felt really bad for getting so angry. After I tended to my wounds we had a nice little talk about throwing things...here's hopin' he retains that lesson!

Wow! It's the worst when your kid hurts you! I hate to say it but I can't believe how purple it is...hope it doesn't get worse but you know how bruises work...they usually get worse over time!

At least you got some good before shots! Those are so cute! And hey, purple is IN.

Oh my gosh...I hurt FOR you! That looks so painful. You should make up a cool story as to how you got a shiner...like you and another pregnant lady both reached for the last pair of pregnancy pants at the same time and you fought over them and you won! LOL! Hope it gets healing soon! :)

The pictures you took before "the incident" are really cute. And thanks for posting the picture of your eye - How early can you sign that kid up for baseball??? He has a great arm (as evidenced by the movies of him chucking the balls at the stray cat!).

Don't you just love this stage? The fact that he felt bad afterwards is a good sign...I bet it was so easy to forgive that cutie pie!

Yikes! Watch out for the arm! I hope it goes back to normal quickly for you.

And what a sweetie to feel sad afterward . . . I'm sure it helped!
